Early Neurological Stimulation & Early Scent Introduction: We begin introducing our puppies to this program on day three. It has been demonstrated to raise disease resistance, stress tolerance, and heart rate.

Another essential practice we implement with our puppies is puppy handling. When they are three weeks old, we start them on a daily intentional handling exercise regimen. This involves massaging their necks, paws, backs, bellies, covering their eyes, touching noses, and rubbing their ears.

The handling exercises we use in our program play an important role in the development of our puppies. They aid in desensitizing them to various types of touch, which is an advantage since the Cavapoochons need regular grooming. Additionally, these exercises area valuable for families with young children who will be engaging with the new puppy.

Our puppies are surrounded by a wide range of sounds in their daily lives. From mealtime and playtime to outdoor adventures and crate time, they encounter an array of noises. This includes thunder, fireworks, various music styles, movie sounds, traffic, children at play, cooking, everyday chats, barking dogs, and much more!

The world is filled with a cacophony of sounds and sights. Introducing our Cavapoochon puppies to these loud noises early on helps them become accustomed to them, allowing them to stay calm in chaotic situations. This is particularly beneficial for families with kids, as it enables the puppy to adjust more easily to a lively and bustling environment.

Starting at 5 to 6 weeks old, we introduced our puppies to car experiences! We take them on various outings, including trips to the vet, drive-thrus, car washes, bumpy roads, and leisurely drives around town. This early exposure helps our puppies feel at ease in the car and can also help prevent car sickness as they grow into adulthood.

Introducing our puppies to grooming at an early age is essential, especially since Cavapoochons need regular upkeep. Our puppies undergo weekly nail trims, baths, blowouts, ear cleanings, and brushing sessions. 

This early exposure helps them become accustomed to grooming and reduces any anxiety they might have. We also encourage all our families to maintain this grooming routine! Since Cavapoochons require considerable grooming, we make sure to instill this habit early in their lives.

Introducing our puppies to the great outdoors is a vital component of our program. It not only exposes them to the sounds of nature but also enhances their learning experience with fun activities! We have a dedicated outdoor space for our puppies, allowing them to explore safely. During warmer months, we introduce them to various water experiences, such as sprinklers, kiddie pools, and splash pads. Throughout the seasons, our puppies encounter rain, wind, sunshine, falling leaves, and even snow!

Having a puppy that has been exposed to the outdoors also gives a significant boost to their potty training efforts!

We take great pride in keeping our surroundings spotless as we raise our puppies. In addition to improving general health, this makes potty training less difficult. Our puppies receive early training on eating, sleeping in specified spots, playing, and taking potty breaks, all of which help them move smoothly to house-training.

Even though caring for pups can be messy, we take pleasure in keeping our puppies' environment as clean as possible. Several times a day, duties like changing puppy mats and thoroughly cleaning the whelping boxes, toys, and play areas are completed. Our puppies can grow and develop in a clean living space.
